Sandy Segal with Picasso

A Hidden Art member under our former structure, Sandy Segal, has recently had the honour of being featured at the current Picasso exhibition in the Tate Britain. A ceramist for over 30 years, all her work is built in coarse, white stoneware and subsequently decorated with slips, glazes and body stains. Listing Giorgio Morandi as a key influence, it is perhaps unsurprising that when a buyer for the exhibition came across Sandy’s page on the Craft Central site, she linked it to the Picasso and Modern British Art exhibition. The pots went on display on the 14th of February, and by the 20th the buyer requested another 60 as they had proved highly successful.

Sandy is now busily working her way though the order as more of her work will keep appearing until the end of the exhibition, July 15th, 2012.

If you’re interested in buying, the large pots are priced at £100.00, and the medium pots at £85.00.

Sandy can be reached through e-mail at: sandasegal@aol.com
